Jacksonville Jaguars’ Anton Harrison Out for Season

Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Anton Harrison is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee. The injury was discovered during arthroscopic surgery performed last Thursday. Harrison was placed on injured reserve on October 13 after getting hurt in the team’s Week 5 win over Philadelphia.
Anton Harrison, aged 24, injured his knee while blocking on a run play that involved Bhayshul Tuten sweeping right. After disengaging from a block, Harrison grabbed his knee, fell to the turf, and had to leave the field on a cart.
The Jaguars had recently made a significant move in Harrison’s career by shifting him from right tackle to left tackle during training camp. Before his injury, he had achieved an 83.7% pass block win rate, ranking him 39th among offensive tackles.
