Brad Marchand Injured During Panthers’ Game Against Kings

Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand sustained a left leg injury in the second period of Tuesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Kings. The injury occurred after a stick hit to his face from Kings defenseman Brandt Clarke caused Marchand to collide with the goal post in a painful manner. He had to be helped off the ice by teammates and did not return for the third period.
Coach Paul Maurice, speaking after the 2-1 victory, indicated that there was no immediate update on Marchand’s status. ‘We’ll get him looked at probably Thursday,’ Maurice said. This injury comes just as Marchand made his season debut, having been traded to the Panthers in March 2025 and contributing to a Stanley Cup win that year.
